Western Bulk, a dry bulk operator, reported in its own public updates that three vessels were held up in the Persian Gulf while the Strait of Hormuz was closed, and later that all three had exited safely. The same updates name four areas of the business the episode touched: the vessels, fuel bought at a premium to its hedges, cargo commitments and tonnage commitments. This page sets out what the company said, where it said it, and what a person reviewing each area would still need to know.

Two ledgers, kept apart. The corridor-signal harness scored 24 runs and 0 established skill; every run, including the ones with too few signals to say anything, is on /record. The Oracle is a separate pre-release with its own record, below.
Every claim, line and figure carries exactly one of these labels. A company's statement is not an observation, a recorded dependency is not a forecast, and a scenario is not a prediction. The methodology gives the rules behind each.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Direct observation | A figure Vaethra collected from a public feed, with that feed's own date. |
| Company-confirmed | Stated by the company in its own published disclosure. |
| Recorded dependency | A relationship in Vaethra's graph, carrying the evidence that established it. |
| Working hypothesis | A reading that has not been confirmed. It carries what would disprove it. |
| Scenario path | A route Atropos traces through recorded dependencies when one node is set to a severity. Not a forecast. |
| Statistical association | A lead or lag measured between two series. Not causation. |
| Model output | A number produced by a model, labelled with the model's version. |
