API, data and licensing

The public API is free and needs no account. Bulk extracts, redistribution rights, private feeds and integrations are arranged individually — tell us what you need.

What is already free

Every read endpoint. No key, no registration, no tier behind it — the Terminal and Atropos run on the same API you can call, which is deliberate: a private endpoint we use and you cannot is a claim you would have to take on faith.

Documentationapi.vaethra.com/docs

Every endpoint, the caching and licence rules, the error catalogue, and what v1 promises.

Statusapi.vaethra.com

Live counts and the current accuracy record.

600 requests a minute per client. Responses carry a cache-control matched to how fast that data actually moves — honouring it is faster for you than polling harder.

02Licensing

The licence travels with the record

Vaethra collects from 49 public sources, and their terms differ. Some are public domain. Some permit analysis but not redistribution. Some permit neither without a licence of your own.

So every record carries a license field, and it is authoritative — not this page, and not a blanket statement about "our data". Before redistributing anything, read the field on the records you actually hold.

Two things are ours rather than an upstream's, and are licensed by us: the dependency graph (how entities relate, and on what evidence) and the derived layers — the pressure index, the mined signals, the cascade traces. Those are the work, and they are what a commercial arrangement is for.

One source is collected and analysed but never displayed publicly, because its licence forbids public display. It is excluded from every public endpoint by construction, not by policy.

03Beyond the public API

What is arranged individually

Bulk & historical extracts

The full archive rather than a rolling window, as a one-off or a scheduled drop.

Redistribution rights

A licence to put Vaethra-derived figures in something you publish or sell.

Private feeds

A push feed scoped to your entities, corridors or thresholds, with delivery guarantees the public SSE stream does not make.

Integrations

Into an existing system — a SIEM, a risk platform, a data warehouse, an internal dashboard.

Corridor validation

A backtest run against your corridor and your definition of an event, scored the same way and published or kept private as you prefer.

Atropos at depth

Unlimited-reach cascade runs, custom dependency layers, or your own graph merged with ours.

There is no price list on this page on purpose. These differ enough by scope that a number here would be either wrong or meaningless. Say what you need and you will get a real answer.
